WW - Rolex Oyster, ref 2416, circa 1937, manual wind, 28mm x 33mm to lug tips, 17mm wire lug width, original square 9K gold screw back Oyster case, black leather strap, original silvered dial with applied gold Arabic numerals, 15J, s#42923, triple signed. Gross weight of assembled watch without strap 13.5 dwt (21.1 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, very light oxide to steelwork, light fine scratches on plates; excellent dial with light surface spotting; excellent-plus blued steel hands; polished case shows very light wear, case back is incredibly crisp with Rolex crown stamp visible and sharp, several light dings on bezel and lugs; original signed crown shows very little wear, good threads; good crystal.
